A 13-year-old New Jersey boy believed to have been abducted last month was found yesterday, apparently unharmed, in the Port Authority Bus Terminal in midtown, the police said.
The boy was asking for information about a bus to Highlands, N.J., when he was spotted by Officer Joseph J. Filingeri of the Port Authority police.
''He wasn't upset,'' said Officer Filingeri, ''but he was very anxious to get home.''
The boy was last seen Nov. 29 walking to the Henry Hudson School in Highlands. A Federal warrant was issued earlier this week for Hugh Hammill, 21, who was charged with abducting the boy and taking him to a cottage in Wareham, Mass.
The cottage, which was raided by the police on Dec. 6, was used by the North American Man-Boy Love Association, a homosexual group. The police in Highlands declined to say whether they were still looking for Mr. Hammill.

The thought of heading out to the NAMBLA Cottage floods me with sentiment. What I wouldn't do to be a boy again...
ReplyDeletedid he at least gets boots and a sandwich?
ReplyDeleteThat's disturbing that they describe NAMBLA as a homosexual group instead of a pedophilia group. Homosexuals are disgusted by groups like NAMBLA.

ReplyDeleteSo, Bry, did the cop give you a ride home, or did you have to wait for your parents?

That's really a terrible event and it's great the kid wasn't killed. But I bet that he'll have trauma for years to come.
ReplyDeleteI am a bit disappointed in the writer's choice of words. Homosexuality and pedophilia are totally different. The NAMBLA douches have a sickness. Homosexual sex is consensual (unless its rape then it doesn't matter the gender of the rapist/victim)
